Event and ticket sources
Each event surface identifies its event source. The event source and external booking provider are separately identified when they differ. Organic event ranking and official-seller selection do not use commission amount. The provider is identified on the event card and details screen before an enabled booking button can open its page, and CarFree applies a server-side official-seller policy.
If provider event images are enabled, an eligible non-sports Ticketmaster image may load directly from Ticketmaster's exact image host and is labeled “Image via Ticketmaster.” The image must belong to that exact event and automatically falls back to reviewed CarFree media if it is unavailable, expired, restricted, or becomes ineligible. CarFree does not rehost or persist these provider images, create derivatives, or materially crop them. Sports-team and league creative is excluded unless separate written rights are approved.
Affiliate relationships
Eligible Ticketmaster handoffs use Ticketmaster-provided Impact affiliate links. CarFree may earn a commission from an eligible completed purchase at no added cost to you. CarFree may receive affiliate attribution or earn a commission from an eligible external booking in the future only where that relationship is disclosed. That relationship does not change CarFree's official-seller priority. The external provider controls ticket prices, fees, fulfillment, refunds, and the terms of the transaction; CarFree does not process the provider's ticket payment.
Privacy at booking handoff
Event booking handoff is available for eligible events. If you choose to continue, CarFree creates a content-minimized clickout receipt before an allowed external handoff. It contains an opaque receipt ID, internal event, offer, and provider identifiers, timestamps, status or reason, and app-surface context. Identity, email address, precise location, payment-card details, and provider destination URLs are excluded. Provider URLs and affiliate configuration remain server-side. If direct Ticketmaster event images are enabled, viewing an eligible image makes a normal image request to Ticketmaster, which may receive request information such as your IP address, user agent, and request time under its privacy practices. CarFree uses reload/no-prefetch handling for these images and does not place them in CarFree's persistent media storage.
Event corrections and takedown contact
Event organizers, venues, providers, and rights holders can report a cancellation, incorrect listing, media concern, or takedown request at support@carfreeapp.com. Include the event name, date, venue, and the reason for the request; do not include ticket-holder or payment information. CarFree's provider-image policy requires removal or fallback within 24 hours of a valid takedown.
